Selection Criteria
To be eligible to qualify for a Habitat home, your family must be:
Living in the city of Fredericksburg, or the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania or King George.
Unable to qualify for any type of conventional home financing.
Living in inadequate/sub-standard housing.
Able to finance an interest-free Habitat mortgage with a reliable source of income.
Willing to partner and work with Habitat. (sweat equity and homeowner classes)
How do I get an application for a Habitat Home?
You must attend a HOMEOWNERS Orientation Meeting.

Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity (Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King George
and Stafford) is looking for families of four to six people for several
three-bedroom homes.
To find out more, please attend an orientation on Wednesday, August 18 from
7:00 to 9:00 p.m. or Saturday, August 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Location is at the Bragg Hill Family Life Center at 400 Bragg Hill Drive,
Fredericksburg, VA.
Attendance at the orientation is required before you can submit an
application.
During this meeting, our program is explained in greater detail and your
questions will be answered. This is where you will be given an
application. This is the ONLY way for you to receive the
application.
